We are building the foundation for lifelong confidence.
About the class:
Learn Safe Movement offers the highest quality youth physical exercise (P.E.), functional and sports performance training. Our Coaches are the best in town. We bring the gold-standard in personal training and sports performance to the Greater Sacramento Region, teaching safe, effective, athletic movement to boys and girls ages 6+.

What to expect:
This fast paced, in-person, indoor, 1 hour PE group class, teaches kids safe, athletic movement and coaches kids to develop a positive, growth mindset. Class is geared towards all levels. Kids master the fundamentals of movement, gain speed, strength and coordination, and move past growth spurts with improved coordination and confidence. This class is perfect for energetic students and no prior athletic experience is needed.

Testimonials:

A Note from Coach Travis:
Learn Safe Movement P.E. is for any experience level, any sport, any kiddo wanting to learn more about how their body moves. Our class is geared towards the heart of every child. Through that, I help them find their inner athlete.

Coach Travis explains, "Students in kindergarten through eighth grade need physical education classes two times per week, at a minimum. We're an active, athletic family, but we don't work out all the time. Nor, do we chase youth sports. In our home, we are a Montessori family. We believe in exposing children to the vast world of sports, and observing their lead. Then, bridging interest with tools and education that they can use to help themselves meet their own goals.  The first step that we especially acknowledged in this process, with our own children, was and remains, to get them comfortable in their own bodies. This is how I co-coached Running Club at California Montessori Project - American River campus for the kids and as an athlete myself, this step is the foundation on which all athleticism is built. When we can meet a child where they are at, teach them how to move, grow past growth spurts, and how to manage their growing years, they come out feeling confident, and courageous, willing to try any sport. They know how to handle their body, how to listen to instruction and be coachable. Our class is geared towards the heart of every child. Through that, I help them find their inner athlete."

At the heart of the program is the desire that the students feel the joy of their bodies at play. Hopefully, they will make a holistic mind/body/spirit connection to carry the habits into the rest of their lives and grow the athletic courage to try any sport, any time, for fun! It should be FUN!
